This Bayliner Avanti is offered at an amazing price. Boat is in very good condition overall and is a great value opportunity for the next owner.
Built on a solid fiberglass modified-V hull, the Avanti's mid-cabin interior is arranged with two staterooms, one forward and the other tucked below the elevated settee opposite the lower helm. Also the dinette in the main salon area converts into a bed. The head is quite spacious and contains a full stall shower with bench. The Avanti's cockpit is large enough for a couple of deck chairs, and the flybridge has the helm forward with wraparound guest seating. Additional features include a molded bow pulpit, radar arch, and a swim platform. The 3488 Avanti can cruise at 18 knots and reach a top speed of close to 30 knots. Overall, this Avanti is a comfortable and efficient boat with a well designed layout.

Starboard Engine

Start and shutdown properly, no smoke or excess fuel on water on cold start, fired up and ran well. 4400rpm at WOT. Cooling system functioning properly, held temp at WOT no excess steam and good water flow.
Charging system functioning properly. Belt in working condition. Hoses and hose clamps in good working condition. No signs of any leaks. Fluids at proper levels. Sea strainer clean

Couldn't find any immediate issues or concerns with the starboard engine. All ran well and like it should. We did have an rpm difference at WOT only by about 200 rpm. This was checked with an independent tool to RPM apart from the gauges. Would also suggest a tune up and fuel filter change. This may improve the 200 rpm difference. Otherwise you are rarely if ever going to be running at WOT.
This vessel is in good mechanical condition overall for the age. Maintenance appears to be kept and done correctly.
