Tollycraft has long been regarded as a premium builder of cruisers for the Pacific Northwest designed by two generations of the Ed Monk family. This classic tri-cabin model has many design features that combine to make for a versatile, capable family cruiser -- perfect for our coastal and inland waters. Twin Cummins diesel engines can move this semi displacement hull at economical trawler speeds or on a semi-plane at 18 knots. The comfortable flybridge is a favored helm location because of the visibility and comfort of the large enclosure. There is plenty of seating for guests to enjoy, whether underway or lounging at the anchor or the dock. There are sleeping accommodations for five and two separate cabins.
"Kona Kai has been extensively updated and has been kept in covered moorage since new. There have been only three experienced owners of this yacht and they have maintained it to an exceptionally high standard. Over the years they have made extensive upgrades to the boat including new windows and salon doors, new Northern Lights genset, both heads have been remodelled and sanitation systems upgraded, New Blue Sea electrical panels, Magnum 2800 Inverter/Charger with remote panel, new carpeting, galley countertops and fixtures upgraded.
The boat has a recent insurance survey which states that Kona Kai is a "clean and well maintained yacht" and the boat was hauled and fresh bottom paint applied in the summer of 2022, This well appointed Tolly is also an experienced Alaska cruiser and is ready for its next adventure.
